Facilities and Campus Services' mission is to provide safe, sustainable, vibrant,
and welcoming campus environments which support the university's academic, research,
and community goals.
Our campuses include Anchorage Campus, Kenai River Campus, Kachemak Bay Campus, Kodiak
Campus, Mat-Su Campus, and Prince William Sound Campus. We provide support to 14,000 students, faculty, and staff across 1500 acres, including 99 buildings
totaling 3.3M gross square feet.
The UAA Anchorage campus is comprised of 65 buildings, totalling 3.2 million gross
square feet with 1.9 million square feet of roof space.

~50% of UAA Anchorage land is developed
Thanks to financial support from the Green Fee Board, Facilities Grounds implements
use of battery-operated movers to manage lawncare needs on theWest Quad.
We maintain 1.87 million square feet - or 43 acres - of parking surfaces!
Facilities Electrical managing fan replacement in the Central Parking Garage spine.
We maintain 6.6 lane miles of roadway, which translates to 420,000 square feet!
Facilities Grounds hosts Synergy Group seed planting in the greenhouse.

Campuses.

FCS Business Office聽handles聽maintenance & operations work management, customer service, human resources, information systems, accounting, financial reporting,聽administrative support, procurement, travel support,聽and聽budgeting functions聽for Facilities & Campus Services departments.
Providing quality services to our UAA community through Seawolf Postal Express, Copy & Print Center, Surplus & Relocation, Recycling, and UAA Property.
FPC is responsible for UAA capitol construction projects, maintaining construction forms and standards, master planning and capital planning, space management, plus mapping and building information.

Building Managers
Building Managers play an important role in our campus' daily operation by communicating occupant needs and assisting our
services departments. Building Managers are non-Facilities staff who keep their building in check and work with Facilities and
Campus Services to resolve facility-related issues.
EHS promotes a safe learning and working environment while offering training and guidance on health and safety matters ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety laws and regulations, including the protection of minors on campus.
