eWolf ePortfolio

What is an ePortfolio?鈥

An ePortfolio is a digital space where items are gathered and curated, with a certain purpose and audience in mind. They may be used in a single course to encourage reflection on the learning process and demonstrate fulfillment of the course objectives, or on a larger scale, to display the stages of learning and mastery across a project or someone鈥檚 academic or professional journey. ePortfolios are driven by the creator and can include a variety of media, such as text, graphics, images, documents, videos, and audio. Rather than focusing solely on the final product, 鈥渇olio-thinking鈥 encourages students to connect all aspects of learning, including reflection on the learning process and how learning happens both inside and outside the classroom. In this way, ePortfolios and 鈥渇olio-thinking鈥 allow students to illustrate what they know, how they know it, how to apply it, and where it fits in the world.
